Fading and Discoloration

With continued exposure to the sun’s U.V. rays, a vehicle’s unprotected interior surfaces are subjected to fading, discoloration, and deterioration. Excess heat and sunlight can dry out the natural oils contained in leather upholstery, causing it to fade, stiffen and crack over time, exposing rips and tears on seats, arm rests and other unprotected interior surfaces. Likewise, fabric, vinyl, and carpet are also prone to fading and deterioration as a result of prolonged U.V. exposure.
