Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) provides retail or lease customer with one very significant benefit – peace-of-mind. GAP pays the difference between the insurance company settlement and the amount owed on the vehicle at time of loss.

Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) Benefits

1. Pays the difference between what is owed on the loan and the settlement from your primary insurance carrier
2. GAP Plus – additional $1,000 replacement vehicle benefit (not available for Ford Motor Credit)
3. Payable loss up to $50,000 (includes up to $1,000 primary carrier physical damage deductible)
4. Covered vehicles MSRP or NADA retail value up to $100,000
5. Covers delinquent payments up to 60 days

Eligibility

1. New and pre-owned vehicles
2. Up to 84-month term (Ford Motor Credit – up to 72 months)
3. No MSRP restrictions
4. Ineligible vehicles: commercial vehicles, taxi’s, limousines and rental cars
